We start with a free discovery call to scope one specific outcome. From there you get a fixed price before any work begins. No hourly billing, no surprises. You own everything we build.
Is the retainer required?
No. The retainer is optional. You own what we set up and it keeps working if you ever pause or stop. Many clients keep it because we run the work and review results with them, but it is always your call.
What does owning it actually mean?
You keep the code, the data, and the operating knowledge. It runs on your own systems. There are no licensing fees and no subscription required to keep using what we build.
When do I need Custom AI instead of a Claude setup?
Most outcomes are reachable by setting up Claude on your own data and systems. When the outcome needs a purpose-built application around your workflow, we build it custom, starting from $5,000. We will tell you which fits during discovery.
Are there any other recurring costs?
Only your own infrastructure (for example, server hosting, typically $10 to $50/month) and your Claude usage, both billed to you directly. We do not mark those up or resell them.
